เมื่อวันที่ 2 พฤษภาคม 2566 ผศ.ดร.แสนคำ นุเสน และ Dr. John Pearce จากภาควิชา เคมีอุตสาหกรรม มหาวิทยาลัย เชียงใหม่ ได้รายงานผลโครงการวิจัยร่วมเพื่อปรับปรุงกระบวนการอบชุบผิวแข็ง จากผลการวิจัยดังกล่าวพบว่า สามารถปรับปรับกระบวนการผลิตเพื่อลดต้นทุนได้ กว่า 25%
